Meet Stephani’s boys, Draco, the phalene, and Tali. They are irresistibly impish bundles of energy. They enjoy nothing better than a rousing game of tug-o-war or a case of the zooms around the coffee table. Draco will grab the current favorite toy and gallop around the coffee table with his head held high; glancing over his shoulder every now and then to be sure Tali is still chasing him and ends up nipping Tali in the tail to keep him going.

Draco,born January 20, 2001, came to live in the McFarland household in March of that year, not long after Stephani lost her 18 ½-year-old mixed breed dog. Draco’s puppy antics soon had Stephani smiling again. He filled a void in her life. Draco was a gift from heaven by way of Lois Horan.

When he isn’t playing with Tali, Draco is a quiet dog with a sweet disposition and a gentle soul. He has a certain elegance about him, but he can also be comical.

Tali joined the clan in June 2001, to Draco’s extreme delight. He’s the greatest little interaction toy Draco could ever have imagined. Tali is the essence of the elegant papillon that Stephani dreamed of for nearly 20 years.

Tali is co-owned with Lois Horan, and is the show dog that Stephani has wanted for so long. He eats up the attention he gets at dog shows and loves nothing more than to walk ‘round in circles. He has a dynamic personality and rules the roost at the McFarland nest.

It didn’t take long for Tali to carve a niche in Stephani’s heart. He is fast becoming as devoted to her as her 18-year-old Cricket was. In the evening, when Stephani is studying or watching television, Tali lays on the arm of her chair as close to her as he can get.
