First picture is
Mia (Mi Amore' ~ "My Love" in
Italian) She is our first "potato chip" Pap that moved
into to our home and hearts Valentine's Day weekend 1999. As
any Pap parent knows she became the light of our lives! The ironic
thing is that our business name is M.I.A. Services and I'm part Italian so it
seemed this furbaby was meant to be ours before we even started searching
for her.
Second picture is Diva (Bette
Midler-Diva) Mia's half-sister who is one year younger and came home
Mother's Day 2000. Think we were 'set-up' by our breeder, Claudia Clark,
as we pappysat Diva and her mom; of course we fell head over heels for her
even though she was not available at that time. We still call her Baby
Diva because at a year and a half she only weights a bit over 4
pounds.
Third picture is Mia
and Diva - somebody must have been in the kitchen fixing dinner -
otherwise, they
never stand that still.
Picture four is Gil and his special
little Girls; he worries and frets over them like a mother hen.
Fifth picture is Gail, Gil and The
Girls in our back yard in Oregon. We are forever grateful to Claudia for
entrusting us with the lives of her furbabies, giving us unbelievable love
and joy.
